AFP-KS Blasts Holscher for Fundraising with Radical VA Gov. Spanberger

TOPEKA, KS – Americans for Prosperity-Kansas (AFP-KS) called out Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cindy Holscher today for her fundraising materials featuring Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, who campaigned as a moderate and has governed as an extreme progressive.

The message from Spanberger claims that Holscher will keep “extremism out of the way of ordinary life,” but both their records and agendas lead to bigger government and higher bills for taxpayers.

Elizabeth Patton, AFP Regional Director in Kansas, released the following statement:

“Cindy Holscher sees Gov. Spanberger’s record as a model for Kansas. But the radical Virginia governor’s record is taxing everything that moves and sending businesses fleeing the state in droves. With Kansas on the verge of electing a pro-business, pro-family leader in Ty Masterson, voters need to wake up to the threat to prosperity and opportunity that Holscher poses to our state.

“Ty Masterson has spent his career cutting taxes and making every aspect of life more affordable for hardworking Kansans. We don’t want Spanberger’s radical agenda here in Kansas.”
