AFP-Kansas Celebrates Ty Masterson Primary Victory

TOPEKA, KS – Americans for Prosperity-Kansas (AFP-KS) congratulated Kansas Senate President Ty Masterson for his Republican primary victory on Tuesday in the race for governor and announced plans to double down on its canvassing efforts in support of him ahead of the general election.

AFP Regional Director Elizabeth Patton gave the following statement: 

“Ty Masterson is exactly the kind of principled leader that Kansans need in the governor’s mansion after eight years of stalled economic growth and poor financial stewardship under Gov. Laura Kelly. Cindy Holscher cannot compete with Masterson’s track record of transformative policy reforms, from housing affordability to education freedom.

“Our grassroots activists and volunteers across the state will hit the ground running after this primary win to make sure Kansans vote again for Masterson in November to bring competent, conservative leadership back to Topeka.”
