Americans for Prosperity-KS Applauds Final Passage of Regulatory Sandboxes, Calls on Governor Kelly to Sign
Topeka, KS – Following the passage of House Bill 2291 which will establish the Regulatory Relief Division within the Office of the Attorney General and create a regulatory sandbox program to waive or suspend rules and regulations for businesses exploring new innovation, Americans for Prosperity-Kansas (AFP-KS) State Director Elizabeth Patton issued the following statement:
“We applaud both the House and Senate for overwhelming bipartisan support of HB 2291, Universal Sandboxes. This bill is a smart balance between innovation and consumer protection. We call on Governor Kelly to swiftly sign this legislation so that businesses can get to work bringing their creative ideas and products to the market faster and drive job growth for our state. This legislation will limit excessive government overreach and foster economic growth for Kansas.”
